My love of food is equal to my love of Spain, and whether its teaching people about the culture of tapas and how to cook them on a Private Tapas Cooking Course, or serving a selection of delicious tapas to share with others whilst you learn conversational Spanish, I guarantee you will be inspired to have a go yourself! Tapas are what Spain is all about, and enjoying them with others in the relaxed environment of my home in Upton Scudamore will make learning Spanish will be as easy as ¡uno dos tres!

Language

My aim at Talking Tapas is to give people the confidence to learn a new language no matter what their age or ability, in a relaxed, friendly environment. You are never too old to try something new, and not only can learning a language introduce you to new cultures and people, it also keeps your brain active, and improves your quality of life! The courses are based on conversational Spanish, providing you with the necessary language skills to be able to converse confidently in a variety of situations.

Culture

For me, understanding the culture of a country is as important as learning the language, especially for one with such a strong sense of tradition and pride as Spain. At Talking Tapas, I would like to give you an insight into some of these cultural delights. From the legendary fiestas, to the amazing Spanish arts and architecture, not to mention the sumptuous wines and incredible food, there is so much to learn, see, taste and experience!
